Geocahing at White Patch

I used to fish at White patch when I was a teenager. (a very long time ago) So when I found there was a geocache there avisit had to be made. I felt Beth was the only child i wanted to take on this trip. As you can see the path is long and steep!
Beautiful views of Plymouth sound and Cornwall in the distance

Beth was a little tired by the time we got back to the top! As was I.
Geocache was found.

Geo caching Day 2

Geo caching fun in Plymouth, combined with dog walking. Sorry I forgot to take the camera on day 1.
Pepsi was not to impressed as she had to stay on the lead! due to a recent operation.
Jacob showing off a geo coin we found. we found 3 travel bugs today.
Here we are loading a travel bug into a container. A bit of a squeeze. Travel bugs are supposed to be small, not large fluffy animals!
We also played on a rope swing on the way home.
there has been a Star wars theme to the visit so the kids were using "the force"

Feel the force!

Busy Day in Plymouth.

So what can we do today. well Dad got a petrol powered pressure washer years ago probably from an auction but it had never ran for us. After clearing the house gutters of leaf mold etc we set to work on the pressure washer and after an hour of tinkering it burst into life. How to make a man feel great .... fix a power tool with out an instruction book!
So off we went cleaning the mouldy drive. As you can see the path to the door was very dirty. All looking clean now. I have had to wash my cloths twice today as it has been so wet!!
To complete an amazing day Dad took a trailer of rubbish to the tip. Perhaps we will get another load gone tomorrow?
