Off to Broadstairs beach and a very high tide. we buried Rebekah in the sand.





Of course when you are on the beach you have to collect all the seaweed!

30th July After a day wandering round Canterbury and St Augustine's Abbey we return to the campsite. "After yesterday's poor showing on the cricket field by the English team dad decides its time to get the next generation ready for the england cricket team! some throwing and catching practice."

29th July ....So summer finally arrives. we visit Reculver towers. Beth and Sarah cycle there and back. chris and Rebekah take the car- a 7.5 mile round journey for the cyclists and 14 miles or so in the car!!!


Back to Minnis Bay ... "Happy Holidays" the girls declare!
dad searches in vain for anything remotely like a rock pool and listens to Englands cricket decline!`the girls are not concerned!

Rebekah earnt her first certificate at swimming this week, she's really proud of it.
