Feeding the ducks

These three were going to terrorise the ducks. They really enjoyed playing together and feeding the ducks as well as themselves with bread.

Train Journey

This is the email Chris sent to me about the train journey he took the girls on yesterday, from Bristol to Plymouth.

The Journey so far
Beth cried for 15 mins missing mummy as soon as we left the station.
we then looked out of the window for a while before we drew pictures
Then Rebekah got wriggly because she was tired and the rest of the journey was restless.

they enjoyed the trip. I am hoping they will sleep all night as I am sharing a room with them.

Things children say 2

Yesterday morning Rebekah took one look at the empty toilet roll and said "It needs to grow some more paper"!!! She was deadly serious.

Keep Mum

If you were sent this card by your Mum what would you think?
I wonder if my Mum is giving us hints she wants to move in here!!! I do hope not.

Demise of a car

Our Mondeo has driven it's last mile and has now been given it's order to be scrapped. Last night driving from Gloucester the car started to smoke and the temp gauge went off the top of the red area!! I then spent 3 hours waiting for the AA to pick me up (a woman on her own at nightfall). This morning it has been confirmed the repair bill for the head gasket and all the other bits which have gone will be about twice what the car is worth. (Mind you the tyres and stereo are probably worth nearly as much as the car!)
Chris has now raided the car and removed anything worth keeping but nearly had a tear in his eye as he waved it goodbye!!

Work party

Chris has spent a large part of the day in charge of a work party, clearing rubble from the garden at BISC. I think they enjoyed the idea of being able to demolish and wreck things!!

Sweetcorn monsters

Our girls are rather fond of the sweetcorn. Unfortunately there isn't enough sweetcorn in the world to satisfy!

Turtle correction

There were concerns raised about the headless turtle. It's head was behind the bricks.

Zoo breeds human/turtle cross

Evidence of genetic engineering has been seen at Bristol Zoo.

They put children into tanks with the seals too!

Children say the funniest things

Rebekah has just informed me that she is scared of the "Daddy spider leg."
I think she was talking about the Daddy Long legs (not Crispy but the insect variety!)

Garage demolition

This was once a garage at BISC which Chris was in charge of demolishing. Not sure whether he got monkeys or people to help!!!!
