Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Beth and I went to see this at the Hippodrome in Bristol last night. Tim and Fiona joined us as we went for a meal at Wagammamas and then onto the theatre. It was fantastic I would have loved to take a photo of Beths face when the car flew and when they were dancing for the baron. She loved it but it was rather a late night. Bed on time tonight though.

British Empire and commonwealth

A trip to the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum. We didn't take any photos in the museum bit but there was a children's workshop to do weaving and printing. Here are the results...

Trip to the Zoo

Yes, once again we are members at Britol Zoo so there is a very high possiblility of lots of photos of children at the zoo and animals too! There may even be a few plants creep into the photos.

I just love this photo It is water with the food in it being frozen and then they have to get the food out again. This lot were very determined to get it out.

Things children say 4

Last weekend once we returned from our church weekend to Hebron Hall near Cardiff we were just getting out of the car and the mother of one of Rebekah's class mates walked past. While we were talking Rebekah informed her that we had been to "Dolphins". Sharon looked at me and I looked blankly back before the penny dropped and I informed her that we had infact been to Wales!!!!

We went for a short walk and cycle ride to feed some ducklings at Beth and Paul's local pond (not the one in their back garden of course) and found that too many others had been there already, they really weren't that hungry!!!

St Fagan's

During the Church weekend away this last weekend we had a trip to St Fagans It was lots of fun and the children explored the various structures which had been moved from all over Wales to this national museum.

Asher and Alex attempt to smuggle a frisby into St Fagans, unfortunately they were spotted and it was confiscated, ticketed and returned at a later time.
