Today we had a great walk at Goblin Coombe, here are photos from the last time we went. Today the weather wasn't quite so sunny and dry as last time so we took the lower walk which meant not taking the high route (which felt like the edge of a precipice) so lots of muddy slips but was LOADS of fun. Nathan and Samuel W had the camera for a large percentage of the walk so thank you to them for some of these photos. We had a close shave with some cars on the walk. While following a marked walking path with signs saying walkers welcome, we came across a wider path which suddenly had cars rallying on it. They suddenly stopped and the co driver started shouting at us all, accusing us of trespass effectively, we moved away fast before more cars came round the corner (or missed the corner). Paul says he likes to make sure that the walks have some talking point on them. Can I point out to Paul that slightly less interesting talking points are fine thanks. :o)
Beth moved into her new room so this is the first time one of our new rooms has really been used properly. It doesn't have a door at the moment but it is on its way. We're looking forwards to more of the rooms being used.
Maureen and Keith came to stay for the weekend and had a good hunt round the new house. The moment we went out for a walk with the kite it started to rain but we had fun. The wii provided a great bowling contest.
