Lost property

This afternoon after returning the caravan to it's site we popped in to see a very good friend.
Later this evening we received an email stating that I had forgotten something along with this picture...

I'll admit I did leave the hat... but I really didn't expect it to turn up looking like this.

Holiday in Brixham 4

After seeing the weather forecast for Friday we decided it would be time to pack up the awning before it rained on Friday morning and we had to pack it up wet. As the weather got colder we decided not to stay till Friday.
We decided a trip to Berry Pomeroy castle was in order for the cold day. After lunch (in the car due to the temperature) and some more looking round, and up chimneys, we decided a hot drink was in order. The girls decided that ice cream would be more appropriate though!!

Holiday in Brixham 3

Wednesday meant a visit to a castle, something we appear to be getting known for. This time it was Dartmouth Castle. Maureen, Keith, Ann and the children came to join us there. It was great fun. (cold but fun) After the castle came a trip to the beach. Slapton Sands, not exactly a sandy beach but the kids had lots of fun. They threw stones, they chased each other and then we all retreated from the very near freezing winds into a cafe with hot chocolate/tea or capuchino for the adults and ice cream for the children and Maureen.

Holiday in Brixham 2

Tuesday was a lovely day with the sun out. Unfortunately the wind started to pick up too.
We spent the morning at the Napoleonic fort on Berry Head. It was a great place for a picnic and an icecream. After that it was time for Rebekah's first fishing trip. Beth's been before but this time none of them caught anything. It was quite pleasant sat on Brixham breakwater though.
