New Years Eve

New Year's Eve was spent in the company of some well known film stars. Princess Leah and Captain Jack Sparrow welcomed us to their house. It wasn't long before an imitation Princess Leah, Aniken Skywalker, Ghandi, Talulah (from Bugsy Malone), Austin Powers, Mr and Mrs Incredible, a random cowboy (not Woody apparently), a bar girl from the cowboy films all arrived along with some mini characters. Morticia, Shrek and Princess Fiona were a little later than most having locked themselves out of their house and spent 20 minutes sat outside waiting for the spare key to arrive!!! I would love to know what their neighbours thought.

Scadbury Park

David, Felix, Soli and Mum joined Beth, Chris and myself for a walk at Scadbury park. Rebekah wasn't feeling as well as she could have been so she and Dad rested at home with Rosie and Jim.

An afternoon at the park

Dad and I walked up to the park, well I walked he used his scooter, and we met the children with Mum, David and Chris.

It was good to get the children out into the air after a few days mainly indoors.

Boxing Day - family and Santa visit

We had a great day with 20 at Mum and Dad's house for the afternoon and evening, then Santa turned up which caused much excitement. The children loved it and when Felix and the others went to have a photo taken with him, Felix decided he needed a hug instead, it was very cute.

David had a guitar program for the Wii and turned the children into little rockers! Soli, Felix and Beth.

Christmas Day

A great day was had by all, the girls enjoyed all the presents and we had fun with Soli, Felix, David and Kori. The Wii which the girls got for Christmas has been a hit with everyone. At tea time we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and remembered that last year Mum had tried to encourage the children to eat the decorations for the top of the cake!!! Joseph has no nose now!

School nativity play

Rebekah was a tick tock dancer in this years nativity. I know that isn't one of the characters you remember in the Bible but it was brilliant.
They were singing a song about getting ready to go to Bethlehem. Rebekah was very enthusiastic and encouraged her other dancers to get all the moves right.
The whole play was excellent with all the important elements there. They went to Bethlehem to see Jesus and told the children that Jesus came to show us that God loves us.

A Busy day felling trees

A busy morning at BISC.
Marie tackled the buddlea, while Dave had a go at some big branches and a whole tree!
cutting down was the easy bit, it took us ages to make the garden look tidy again.








After this we went to 395 and chopped more trees up .... just for fun!
